If you enjoy working with children and would like to make a difference to their formative years, the HNC Childhood Practice is the ideal course for you.
You must be currently employed as a Practitioner, Support Worker/Assistant in an early years setting – childminding, out of school clubs, education or residential/day setting for children and young people. You must have been undertaking your current role for a minimum of six months to undertake this award.
This comprehensive course provides the theory and practical experience of working with children in an early years setting. Students who successfully complete this NC course can register with the Scottish Social Services Council as a support early years worker.
